The Best Ever !!!

Hello and welcome to the Lair !!! No beating around the bush... Tom Brady,in my opinion,has now become the best quaterback ever. In case you didn't see the game last night,it was once again the Tom Brady show. The Pats beat the cold snot right out of the bills 56 - 10. Actually the biggest surprise of the night was Bill Belicheck taking Brady out and leaving him out. This however is very smart. Eventually someone is going to take a cheap shot at Brady because they are so good and keep scoring. I for one have no problem with running up the points. This is a game of competition !!! If one team is better than the other...oh well !!! Maybe the other team should get better personel or practice harder. The bottom line is that the Patriots are very well coached and show great pride in playing for their coach. Let's be honest,how many people said Randy Moss is a cancer??? Well look at that cancer now !!! put in the right environment he is once again a dominant force to be reckoned with and arguably the best receiver in the game. Why? cause Belicheck told him keep your mouth shut and your ass out of trouble and you will be a winner. I think that strategy worked !!! As I am one for giving credit where it is due,let's not forget the best Offensive line in the game. These guys week in and week out protect Brady and give him all the time in the world to do what he does best,pick teams apart !!! I love how every week they say well who's gonna run the ball,this guy is hurt that guy is hurt...Does not matter!!! With that line in front I could rush for 200 plus yards too !!! As we all know I am a die hard Dolphins fan(dieing very hard this year)but I have to admit and be very honest: The 2007 Patriots could be the best team to ever play this sport !!! Yes,I am ready to give them the trophy right now. I don't think anyone in the league can beat them... Period!!!
On a happy note we got our first official snow fall this morning...froze my ass off at the bus stop !!! I hate the cold,but snow is cool now that I don't have to drive in it !!! Have a good day everyone...

Bad Idea !!!

Welcome back to the Lair !!! For those of you which may not have seen these yet, this is a picture of the new street compasses. Yes that's right another thing for idiots who can't read or speak english to get confused over. Allow me to fill you in. This is a painted on sticker the size of a manhole cover which is placed directly outside of subway exits throughout Manhattan. It is supposed to help people find their way to which they want to go. Telling you which direction surrounding streets are in. Although it seems like a good concept,the brain-dead stupid fucker didn't think about people coming to a complete stop at the top of the stairs at subway exits. Now instead of clueless idiots looking up and lost,they look down and ,lost... This now gives other confused morons a chance to stop in the middle of the sidewalk to look at this thing. This still does not help because the fucking foreigners still can't read english !!! So now after standing there causing pedestrian traffic these dumb fucks still ask someone where to go or what direction 6th ave is.... Fuck man !!!! nobody thinks these things through !!! I love this city and I know the people of decision are trying to make it easier for others,but why not make things easier for us Home Towners instead ??? You are talking about helping out people who sit and watch the Michael Jackson look alike for 20 minutes who have nothing better to do except get in everyone else's way who have things to do. This thing just spells out bad news and more traffic and hassle for those of us who like to be on the move all the time. I tell you this If they don't know where they are going maybe they shouldn't be here to begin with ........ A Close Call !!!

Hello everyone and welcome to the Lair !!! We had a close call in Lyndhurst last night. After I returned home from darts, I decided to make a slice of pizza in the toaster oven. As my drunk ass ate the first piece I put another slice in the oven only to pass out while it was cooking. When I awoke to what I thought was my alarm clock, I noticed this black smoke throughout the apartment. Yes the pizza was burning and smoking and the alarm was the fire alarm. Now I am still banged up and trying to get the battery out of the alarm. Tripping over the cats at first until they cowarded in the corner. I finally got the battery out and was able to clear most of the smoke away. The moral of the story is : Don't put food in the toaster oven if you are hammered and gonna pass out !!! Especially if it is cheese !!!

Saying Goodbye To An Old Friend ...

Hello everyone and welcome to the Lair !!! On October 8 2007 I said goodbye to an old friend. My 2000 Chevy S10 and I parted ways after 7 long and some times tough years. This was not an easy decision to make. You see it was on this date a year ago I said goodbye to my first pet Demon,after 10 years." I LOVE YOU DEMON !!! "" Till we meet again " Sorry,.. it had to be done !!!... Anyway keeping that in mind it took some toughness of my own to do what had to be done. Over the past few years "the chevy ", as I loved to call her,had been having some health issues. Nothing major,but little things here and there. Not that I didn't add to it by smashing into a few things that jumped out at me. Oops !?!?! But none the less things were starting to happen. I especially noticed the auto pilot feature was not as keen as she once was. This too loomed in my thoughts @*@* Though we had many great times, like driving to Wildwood in the snow for new years !!! That was fun !!! Or on St. patty's day with Jack, by the Tavern,where there was no parking. The only reason we got a spot was because "the chevy " was a pickup and I fit her beautiful back end underneath a trailer that was parked on 30th street. Smooooth __.
I have to admit I drove her like she was many things. A sports car on the highway,a tank in the snow,and a speed boat in the rain... She was all in one. She was a tough chevy/because of which I never got hurt bad in any of those smashings I was involved in. Again she was it all !!! All that miledge was adding up though ,,, and things were starting to get worse for my poor chevy sweetheart ; ( ... As I pulled into the dealership,her back right blinker blew, "ouch" ,followed by the left,"double ouch " . I realized this could be the time ......

Umbrellas

Hello everyone and welcome to this wet edition of the Lair !!! Today's topic is people who don't know how to use an umbrella. This may sound surprising to you,but you may not walk around Manhattan in the rain that often. Let me tell you people are fucking stupid !!! We have many different types of umbrellas. Many different sizes too. It is our job to know which one is meant for each individual. For example, short,fat people should buy larger umbrellas so it covers their entire obese body. This is greatly appreciated by everyone cause it also allows us not to see their eye raping masses as it oozes down the street. Now skinny people should be buying normal size umbrellas not the ones that can fit 3 persons underneath. The main problem with this is that they don't know how to walk with it. They blast into everyobody short or tall,either in the face or the arm or wherever. Plus they put it in front of their faces and can't see where they are going. Not neccessary !!! This also creates a problem for us "vertically challenged" persons. You see,the taller population forgets us shorter people are under them and when their umbrella drips it drips on ME !!! I now not only have to face the rain itself, which is trying to soak me,but tall fuckers with no umbrella ediquette too. Cut me some slack down here !!! Next are the gay fuckers who need an umbrella for the slightest bit of rain possible. I mean barely a mist,but these pussies are afraid they are gonna get wet. Let's go toughen up a little can ya !?!? I mean even the women aren't using one. There are a lot of people on these busy streets and on days when it rains,a lot of umbrellas too. People need to learn you can lift and lower your umbrella at will. It doesn't take a fucking degree in science to do. Just try and be a little curtious even if you get a drop on you here and there its OK you aren't gonna melt. Trust me from being around people all the time you are not that sweet. In fact people suck. Not quite as much as the french,which can go FUCK themselves,but yes my friends people suck !!!!!!

Very importantly,yesterday marked the 1 year anniversary of the passing of Demon,my first real pet. She was the inspiration for this blog,hence the title !!! She is greatly missed and always remembered. I will always love her. R.I.P. Demon ... until we meet again ...
Ok second piece of buisness at hand... chics that stand people up !!! This was the third weekend in a row that yours truely was left waiting by the phone for someone to call !!! Not just someone but,yes you guessed it, a Chic. Listen I know people change their minds and rethink things sometimes,but if they don't have the guts to call and cancel at least they could send a text. Or hear is a different approach how about telling the truth from the begining ang just not making plans... It would appear that it is only the hot chics that do this !!! I guess they figure what is the difference they can pick who they want anyway !!! Well guess what ??? Alright people right to buisness ... This team has too much talent to be in this situation !!! As a loyal Mets fan my whole life I am used to some disappointment. Even the years they played well 99,00 they were never a dominent force. Yeah we found our way into post season play but of course no championship. Then came last year. Clearly the best team in the National league early on, this continued all season. Right up until the heart wrenching game 7 of the NLCS. After officially getting over that,this season began. It was good,but different. This years team is not nearly as good as last years team. Still after staying in first all season, now we have to back our way in,if we get there at all. I know " Ya Gotta Believe " but it is getting real hard to do so. I know this team can play better and I hope it starts tonight. NO MORE FUCKING AROUND !!! This is now truely do or die !!! One Step Closer !!!

Something to Think About !!!

Welcome to a softer side of the Lair today !!! As I was fortunate enough to go to the Women In Need Foundation on E New York Ave. in Brooklyn this morning,my eyes were open to an extremely rough situation. Most of these women are single mothers who, for some reason or other, have nowhere else to turn. This place provides them shelter and care for their children to help them get back on their feet. After seeing this first hand I can tell you this is why we must have screenings for having children. As I have stated many time in the past,not everyone is supposed to have kids. In fact,most people shouldn't have kids. They can't even take care of themselves. Now the government is forced to open places like this and suck up money that could be used for something better. Those kids would be better off dead than living in an environment like that. Trust me I saw the staff members that work there too. Will someone please come foward and solve this issue ??? To all the liberals out there don't give me any shit about freedoms of this and that. Fuck ALL That !!! That is how we ended up in all this trouble anyway. Fuck !!! Am I really the only one who feels this way ??? Come'on man you've got to be kidding me !!! Of course,we can always Fuck the french !!!! Let me take the time to welcome everyone back to the Lair !!!
Sorry for the lapse,but yours truly has been swamped with work and home related issues. Just to make sure I'm still with the loop Ricky and TW are still gay right !!! Just kidding !!! Really though, on a seriuos note, I would like to send congrats to Historelli on his way to Oblivian, I'm sure he knows what I mean. In the words of the late Freddie Mercury "another one bites the dust !" Ricky has had a great deal of success against myself with this year's Maddden( apperently I taught you tooooo well !!!) Now on to bigger and better things.
The sports world can go FUCK itself the way things are going. Aside the fact the Mets are really pissing me off,let us not forget about all the upsets this weekend in football. Every gamblers nightmare came true this week when almost all the underdogs pulled off miracles to shove splinters under our fingernails,leaving us quite uncomfortable. It was a nice hit to the pockets. I also spent the beautiful weekend indoors nursing a cold which really had me loving life. Nuff said about that. Let us look at some happy moments as of late: Everyone's good friend O.J. has once again got his "supposed innocent" ass in trouble. Claiming he was trying to take back stuff that was his. Let's be honest we all know this is God's way of finally putting O.J. where he belongs. Actually not true. They will only put him in jail, he deserves to be six feet under !!! Today marks my 3 month stay at my job. Thus making me an official employee. The Bronx

Welcome to this Bronx edition of the Demon's Lair !!! For those of you who have never been to E205 street, let me tell you it is very interesting. Allow me to enlighten you with a story. Picture me, that's right me, walking around E205 street by myself looking for the Bronx HS of Science. Now picture everyone else in that neighborhood looking at me walking around looking for the school as well. There were a few friendlys,however there were also a few not so friendlys. More the not so than so. After finally finding the HS and discovering all entrances were closed except a hidden one that I luckly found, I met with the gentlemen installing our lockers. Quickly doing a walkthrough and making what notes I had to, I was non-hesitant to get back on the D train and back to Manhattan. I sit now safely at my desk writing this and telling you ,you can keep the Bronx and everything about it.

Scumbags that promote animal violence !!!

Hello everyone and welcome to the Lair !!! I'm extremely fired up over this whole Michael Vick situation!!! For those of you who may live under a rock,he is now pleading guilty to federal charges of promoting dog fighting. This is one of the most cruel acts anyone can perform to an animal. Learning from the most recent Real Sports episode these people steal dogs from other people and tape its mouth shut and put it with a vicious dog so it can practice killing. This is only part of it. Some of the other torture tactics include beatings and starvation. Imagine someone doing that to your friend and companion. All kidding aside,everyone knows I hate people, but these animals just want our love and affection. To think ANYONE could do something of this nature is HORRIBLE !!!!!! We can only hope by catching this piece of shit,public figure, people will be more aware that this goes on and help put a stop to it. I know it will never be completely stopped,but if we all do our part,maybe we can help control it a little. I'm not a dog owner myself,but many of my friends and family have dogs and they can tell you,I love em. If people are so interested in watching things fight to the death, maybe we can get some of the degenerates that are in prison for life and have them fight to the death on pay -per-view. At least society will win something . And the dogs can just simply be man's best friend again !!!

Madden Review

Welcome to the Lair !!! I hope everyone had a better weekend than I did !!! No need for details. There are more important things to discuss. This years Madden 08 is rediculous!!! Once again the people at EA Sports have outdone themselves. Although only playing about 5 games,it is nice to get the feel again. As always there is not much difference,but a few little things go a long way !!! I like the mini-drills also. they are good practice. I'm not quite sure when the tourny will be ,but all those interested should pay attention on this site for future info. In ending everyone should go out and get Madden 08 . FRANKIE DRUKS gives this one 2 Middle Fingers Up !!!
I also give 2 Middle Fingers Up to Girls this weekend !!! May it piss on you all week !!!

Co-Workers

Welcome back to the Lair !!! I would like to take a minute to tell you how great my co-workers are. After suffering for 11 years in that shithole i used to work at it is a great pleasure to work with real prfessionals. These people make going to work easy. I can't begin to tell you the laughter and joy we have throughout the day. My side of the floor is by far the best. We all work together as a team. It is really awesome that I fell into such a good posotion. ( thanks Ricky ) Although I'm not very good with computers, I have a lot of help from my neighbor Jess. She is my lifesaver. She has helped me more times in the past 2 months than I can count. I will always be in debt to her. ( in case you ever read this "THANKS JESS , YOU ARE THE BEST "). Of course everyone in the office is very helpful,it is a great thing that people actually want to see you succeed instead of fall on your face. Sharon is awesome too. She is not only my office mom,but she is my reason of sanity. I hope all of you feel the same about your jobs !!!

Computers Suck !!!

Welcome to the Lair !!! Due to unfortunate circumstances, yours truely,was robbed of Madden Time last night! Due to the fact that computers blow donkey dick and the Mets bullpen with them, I could not stay up any later to play. So the review will have to wait till over the weekend. Madden Craze

As always welcome to the Lair !!!It is once again that time of year ! Yes friends its Madden Time !!!!! I personally purchased the game today. Not falling into the manic rush to the stores at midnight on monday. I own every single madden game from the very first one that came out in 1991. ( showing the age a little) Over the years this has become an amazing phenominon . From the first years I have always held a tournament . Each year provided a cash prize to the winner as well as a trophy. (which someone never gave back) ( thanks to whoever that may be) Anyway this year will be no different. Though no date has been set yet, it will definitely be on. We hope for as good an outing , if not better, than past years. In the great tradition of our childhood days, let the madden begin. This year is supposed to be the best one yet. I can't wait to play tonight after work !!! Tomorrow will bring a review. I'm sure I won't be disappointed !!!

Short Skirts !!!

Welcome to the Lair ! This one is for the guys. We should all sit back and enjoy this beautiful weather we are having. Those of us fortunate enough to work in the city we have it even better.
These are the days of summer and being a single young male, WOW !!! what beautiful sights !!
I would like to give a very big thank you to all the girls who wear short skirts. I don't think you have any idea how happy it makes guys like me. Nothing quite says hello like upper thighs. Of course the shorter the better !!! Short skirts make that walk up the subway stairs that much more enjoyable too. They can turn a bad day into sudden bliss with just the blowing of a breeze.
So in ending,let us give thanks for the genius who came up with the idea of a short skirt. Let us buy that guy a drink and shake his hand. Thanks to him man can be happy again !!!

People Suck !!!

I would like to bitch a little , if I may, about people who don't normally take the bus !!! This morning I purposely took a later bus knowing the early one would be packed with standing room only. This worked out fine at first. I was the first one at the bus stop so I had first pick of seats. Now the problem begins : no open seats next to a chic. ( rule # 1 of a bus ride is never sit next to a dude ! ) After excepting my fate at least I had a seat. As the bus moved on it became more and more packed. Then the worst . . . A group of red-neck tourists get on by medievil times. Of course no seats left. Naturally, I end up with a giant red-neck ass in my face the whole way. This group of 7 clueless individuals was then oohing and awwing the whole ride in. When we finally reached port authority they then didn't know how to get off the bus or which way to go when they did. Standing around as if on an open prairie instead of a BUSY and HECTIC bus terminal. I finally got the momentum to blast on through the silly dressed,poorly hygened,out of place monsters so I could begin the rest of my quest to work. The moral of this story is this : If you don't know what to do on a bus, at least act like you do ! ! !

Update on Vinnie

Many things happened over the weekend,but nothing more important than the progress of young Vinnie. He is doing better and is having his elbow surgery today at 12 o clock. We all continue to pray for him and in time he will be fine.

A giant step !!!

Let me start by welcoming you to Demon's Lair.Now to buisness.
I'm sure by this point everyone knows about Ricky's brother Vinnie. Well Vinnie is like my brother too. Seeing him yesterday in the condition he was in was almost unbareable. Today at 8 : 30 Vinnie goes for win # 1. He will be having surgery to fuse his second vertabre. Although this is no easy task this would be a giant step. The road to recovery will be long and painful for him,but with the help of his family and friends,and of course the doctors,this could lead to a great victory for him. So once again everyone say a prayer for Vinnie and let's hope everything works out for the best. We just want junior back to normal .
